Biography

I primarily produce artistic, conceptual, and erotic nudes aimed at galleries, collectors, and art shows, though I also do occasional commercial work for artisans and small businesses and do a fair amount of intimate portraiture for private clients. If you're in Fairbanks, or traveling to Fairbanks, and interested in modeling for the type of work I shoot, I'd love to hear from you.

I very rarely work with models who are not interested in posing nude.
I do shoot non-nude work, but mostly with models who also pose for nude work. And yes, I do occasionally make an exception and work with a model who doesn't do nudes at all, and it never hurts to ask if you can be one of the exceptions, but please don't assume it's a given until we talk it over.

I work with models age 18 and up (photo ID required, regardless of age), all body types, all genders, all races. My preference is not to have anyone present who's not involved in the shoot, but I can deal with escorts as long as they don't interfere with the photography. I always require a model release. I can work with tattoos and piercings (I may ask if piercings can be removed for some shots), and when it comes to body hair that's your choice, not mine.

Sometimes I pay models and sometimes I work on a trade basis. I will shoot any style you want on a trade basis as long as you're OK with at least half the session being my work. I'm fairly versatile, and I'm happy to work in some fashion, fitness, casual, swimwear, lingerie, glamour, fetish, or adult work if you want shots in those categories.

If you hope to become famous or get into Playboy I'm not the photographer who will make your dreams come true, and you definitely won't get rich by working with me. On the other hand, if you get a kick out of collaborating to create beautiful imagery and working with someone who's always striving to improve then you just might find working with me to be a worthwhile experience. Why not give it a shot?

In 2012 I will be exhibiting at a couple local galleries, making submissions to several juried shows and at least one fine art magazine. I usually submit something to shows and galleries in the Seattle area, including the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival, and I already have submissions in to the Black and White Spider Awards.
